In Bedford, Nova Scotia.\nIn addition to our engineered precast facilities for custom components, Strescon also operates a 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Saint John which manufactures standard concrete products for engineered drainage systems, such as pipe, manholes and catch basins\nJob Summary\nThe Production Team lead is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily production activities within our precast concrete manufacturing facility. This role provides frontline leadership to production employees while working closely with Engineering, Quality Control, and Operations teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to specification.\nThe ideal candidate has experience leading crews in a manufacturing, construction, precast, or industrial environment and is comfortable balancing production requirements, employee leadership, safety expectations, and quality standards.\nCoordinate daily labourassignments and production priorities\n\nProvide frontline leadership and support to production crews\n\nMonitor production schedules and adjust resources as required to meet deadlines\n\nWork closely with Engineering and Quality Control to ensure specifications are met\n\nMentor and develop employees while fostering a positive team environment\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve production efficiency and workflow\n\nAssist with planning personnel and equipment requirements\n\nSupport investigations and resolution of quality, safety, and production concerns\n\nParticipate in daily production meetings and communicate priorities to crews\n\nCivil Engineering Technology Diploma, Construction Management Diploma, Journeyperson Trade Certification, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience\n\n3-7 years of experience leading crews in construction, manufacturing, precast concrete, industrial operations, fabrication, or a relatedenvironment\n\nPrevious experience as a Lead Hand, Foreperson, Crew Leader, Coordinator, or Supervisor would be considered an asset\n\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications\n\nStrong understanding of safety requirements in industrial and construction environments\n\nEffective communication with all levels of management\n\nA detail-oriented focus with strong analytical expertise\n\nDrive to achieve results that meet and maintain safety, quality and accuracy\n\nAs a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Strescon Limited offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.
