Solution Architect

We are seeking an experiencedSalesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions for clients across Japan and the APAC region.

This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for defining solution architecture, guiding delivery teams, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design scalable, high-performing solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

As our Salesforce practice continues to grow in Japan, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to capability development, mentor consultants and developers, and potentially lead and expand a local team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across multiple client engagements.

• Facilitate customer discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design activities.

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.

• Define integration strategies across enterprise platforms and third-party applications.

• Providearchitectural guidance across Commerce, CRM, Customer Experience, Marketing, Service, and related Salesforce technologies.

• Drive technical and functional solution decisions while balancing businessobjectives, scalability, performance, security, and cost.

• Review solution designs and delivery outputs to ensure quality and alignment with best practices.

• Act as the primary technical advisor for customers, building trusted relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors.

• Support pre-sales activities including solution design, estimates, statements of work, and technical presentations.

• Mentor and guide developers, consultants, and technical leads throughout project delivery.

• Contribute to the development of delivery standards, architecture frameworks, and reusable assets.

• Assistin building and growing the Salesforce practice in Japan, including recruitment, mentoring, and team leadership opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• Significant experienceworking within the Salesforce ecosystem in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Consultant, or similar role.

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.

• Experience leading workshops, solution design sessions, and architectural reviews.

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and connected business systems.

• Strong knowledge of solution governance, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• Experience leading distributed delivery teams and managing technical delivery across complex projects.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Core Cloud products, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or related Salesforce solutions.

• Experience designing headless, composable, or omnichannel digital experiences.

• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, B2C Commerce Architect, or other Salesforce credentials.

• Experience delivering projects across multiple countries, brands, or business units.

• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise architecture practices.

• Experience hiring, mentoring, or leading technical teams.

Language Requirements

• Business-level Japanese (preferred).

• Professional English communication skills.

• Ability tofacilitateworkshops and communicate effectively with Japanese and global stakeholders.
