UI/UX Designer - Exploratory

Role Summary:

The UI/UX Designer within OSF Digital is responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for e-commerce websites. This role involves combining the principles of user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX) design to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences. You will work as part of an international ecommerce team on local and international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements and project goals.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience.

Design intuitive user interfaces that align with industry best practices and brand guidelines.

Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products.

Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.

Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously improve design processes and deliverables.

Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members.

Work with client and internal team during disco very to help define collect details and guide the project from a design point of view

Experience Required.

Good working knowledge of Figma including design systems, auto layout, variable etc

Proven experience of e-commerce design as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.

Skills Required:

Strong visual design skills, with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate and design in Japanese & English

Strong understanding of designing for Japanese customers

Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

Knowledge of web and mobile design standards and trends.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Basic understanding if accessibility principles

Additional Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field is advantageous.

Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.

Understanding of Figma x AI, or other related vibe-coding experience is advantageous
