The role will contribute directly to production systems used by operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.\nSupport deployment and integration of AI-enabled systems, data analytics platforms, and shop floor solutions used by operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams\nContribute to manufacturing analytics projects including AI-assisted work instructions, mobile image inspection, vision systems for quality control, and digital twin initiatives\nPerform model training, edge deployment, system integration, and troubleshooting for production environments using SQL, data contextualization platforms, and SCADA/MQTT systems\nWork with OT equipment including PLCs, HMIs, and robots to implement backup, version control, and integration solutions\nBalance desk-based technical work with hands-on shop floor activities including equipment installation, testing integrations, and resolving production issues\nUnderstand the requirements and expectations within a team environment and end user population that relies upon that support structure.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nStudent pursuing a degree focusing on Digital/Information Technology.\nThis is a summer internship with potential to be extended to year-round. Individual must be willing to commute or relocate to Spartanburg, SC to be considered.\nGraduation date on or after May 2028 with the ability to work 20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours a week over winter/summer breaks\nCumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.\nCompleted at least Sophomore year coursework (or equivalent)\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\n· Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or similar languages (coursework or projects demonstrating scripting and data manipulation)\n· SQL knowledge (coursework or hands-on experience with databases and queries)\n· Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line\n· Experience with analytics platforms (Databricks, Jupyter, Power BI, or similar)\n· Understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall rules\n· Exposure to data integration or contextualization platforms (HighByte, Kepware, or similar)\n· Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLCs, or industrial robot automation systems (Ignition, Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc)\n· Git version control\n· Docker or containerization experience\n· Experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, scikit-learn\nWe put people first.
