Coordination of logistics routing, consolidation of freight and providing system metrics are main responsibilities of this role to support Oshkosh Corporation’s requirements. The Logistics Associate also establish and review routing and delivering material from origins into manufacturing locations as well as product to customers and dealers.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.\nSchedule, cover, dispatch and trace freight either inbound or outbound (including expedites).\nMonitor routes/lanes/shipments for compliance and conformance by service providers.\nCommunicate with carriers on performance and opportunities.\nMaintain strong working relationships with carriers.\nSupport maintenance and implementation of Long-Term Agreements with carrier partners.\nProvide support in the development of requirements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of bid packages.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relative area.\nOR equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nLogistics experience within the manufacturing industry.\nAbility to effectively communicate.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.\nStrong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.\nExperience with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.\nMinimal travel
