The ME Intern be encouraged to contribute ideas and suggestions.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.\nAudit and update work instructions, routings and bills of materials.\nImprove material handling methods.\nPerform time studies.\nPerform workstation/cell analyses to improve productivity and quality.\nProvide technical support to the production personnel.\nProvide input for manufacturing fixtures and tooling.\nAssist with plant layout and workstation design.\nLearn and use ERP manufacturing software.\nCreate documentation for new product launches.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nStudent working towards a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or other related Engineering field.\nCompleted at least Sophomore year coursework (or equivalent)\nCumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in welding, machining, or fabrication.\nExperience with Microsoft Office\nExperience with 3D Printing\nExperience with 2D & 3D CAD software.\nExposure to Lean and 5S concepts.\nPossesses mechanical, manufacturing, or assembly skills\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe following represents general working conditions for this role.
