We are a global company, and our products-including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories-can be found all over the world.\nPosition Summary\nThe PPAP Coordinator manages the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new and modified components to ensure compliance with JLG, Oshkosh, AIAG, and customer requirements. This role drives timely, accurate, and complete supplier submissions while coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support successful product launches and production readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview and approve supplier PPAP submissions for completeness and compliance with AIAG and customer requirements.\nValidate dimensional results, GD&T, control plans, PFMEA, MSA, material certifications, and performance testing.\nEnsure alignment to design records, print notes, and critical characteristics.\nCoordinate with suppliers to resolve documentation gaps and drive corrective actions.\nTrack PPAP status and escalate risks to support NPI, ECNs, and production readiness.\nPrepare and issue Part Submission Warrants (PSW) and approval documentation.\nMaintain accurate PPAP records and revision control.\nSupport launch readiness, APQP activities, and design/process reviews.\nReview capability studies, Gage R&R, and process validation documentation.\nSupport interim approvals and manage supplier resubmissions.\nParticipate in internal and external audits related to PPAP compliance.\nDrive improvement in PPAP first-pass yield and reduce submission errors.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in quality, supplier quality, or PPAP coordination.\nWorking knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC).\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.\nExperience reviewing dimensional reports, certifications, and process validation data.\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and quality/document management systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.\nCertification in quality or AIAG Core Tools.\nExperience with QMS systems, supplier portals, or PPAP platforms.\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.\nExperience in manufacturing, supplier quality, or launch environments.\nKnowledge of special processes such as welding, coating, or plating.\nRelevant industry related certifications.\nSupply chain experience within the manufacturing industry.\nAbility to effectively communicate.\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.\nStrong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where needs are constantly changing.\nExperience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nUnderstanding of PPAP requirements and supplier documentation expectations.\nAbility to manage multiple submissions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nEffective cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication.\nAbility to identify issues and drive timely resolution.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily office-based with regular interaction with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams.
