This role will interface with individual buyers and category managers, departments and/or segments.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.\nDrive the maintenance and implementation of standard work procedures and business processes.\n\nIdentity standard work and process improvement needs.\n\nValidate supplier capabilities, capacity and quality systems.\n\nAddress short term performance issues through 8D/SCAR and rapid continuous improvement.\n\nApply tools from lean principle methodology to drive continuous improvement efforts related to business processes.\n\nLead supplier continuous improvement events (CIEs).\n\nParticipate on councils to share project results, present ideas, and solicit feedback to help support individual or team project assignments.\n\nLead/participate in launch readiness programs.\n\nMonitor supplier quality and delivery performance.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree within Supply Chain, Engineering or Engineering Technology; with three (3) or more years of experience within in Supply Chain or a related field.\n\nAbility to travel up to 50%.\n\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\nRelevant industry related certifications.\n\nSupply chain experience within the manufacturing industry.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate.\n\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.\n\nStrong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.\n\nExperience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe following represents general working conditions for this role. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
