We are a global company, and our products-including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories-can be found all over the world.\nJOB SUMMARY\nResponsible for applying paint and coatings to JLG products using electrostatic, air-assist, and other automotive-style paint equipment. This role ensures high-quality finishes through surface preparation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to paint specifications.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:\nApply primer, paint, and touch-up coatings using spray equipment and brushes.\nMask and unmask parts to meet specifications.\nPrepare surfaces by sanding, washing, and conditioning; perform light bodywork if needed.\nDisassemble, clean, and maintain painting equipment (pumps, heaters, tanks, guns, etc.).\nFlush tanks and lines during color changes.\nMix paints for color accuracy, viscosity, and consistency.\nPerform titrations and adjust chemicals as needed for paint and related processes.\nApply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required.\nInspect work before, during, and after painting to ensure quality standards (including mil and gloss checks).\nTransport parts and materials using tuggers, forklifts, overhead cranes, or manual carts.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, including performing preventive maintenance tasks.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n6+ months of painting experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment settings.\nStrong math skills and basic mechanical aptitude.\nAble to wear a respirator and pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).\nAbility and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\n1+ year of painting experience in a manufacturing or body shop environment.\nAbility to work independently and troubleshoot minor issues.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe following represents general working conditions for this role.
