This role will plan and facilitate the work of team members to support on-time completion of production schedules, quality, housekeeping, and safety objectives. This role will develop high performance work teams with ongoing coaching and direction, both formal and informal, enabling a People First Culture.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.\nLead 1-2 small or similar areas/processes within the production facility/line.\nLead production team members in a union and/or non-union environment on the manufacturing process and provide daily support in troubleshooting issues that arise.\nProvide performance feedback and appraisals to team members to guide their development.\nEducate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and processes, and recommend changes as opportunities arise on production floor.\nSupport maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects that support the business and ensure the production schedule demands are met.\nConduct root-cause analyses of manufacturing process to identify, define, and resolve problems and opportunities. Enlists the requisite support to ensure the timely resolution of problems and the prompt implementation of improvements.\nReport and respond to product and process nonconformance issues.\nImplement and sustain 5S in work areas ensuring that tools and materials essential for the performance of the work are readily available.\nResponsible for changes needed in machines, processes, materials, and assembly. Champion process improvements and lead Kaizen events.\nCreate value stream mapping and standard work.\nAccurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma or GED with three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience.\nOR an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong willingness to learn.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\nAbility to plan and organize projects.\nGood communication skills both verbal and written.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe following represents general working conditions for this role. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
