This role will provide leadership and mentorship to site Manufacturing Engineers while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, and other cross functional teams to support day to day production needs and future product launches. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will also lead efforts to advance the line through new technologies, automation, smart tools, AMRs, and manufacturing system integration.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.\nResponsible for completion of a project or parts of multiple projects of complexity on time and utilize lean/six sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements.\nPerforms complex engineering calculations, investigations, and prepares delivery of plans, designs, computation methods and/or reporting.\nManage the development of timely and accurate N/C programs to aid in efficiency in production.\nDetermine appropriate assembly fixturing that are complex in nature.\nReview and select required special tooling and equipment.\nDetermine and improve processes to meet production levels.\nCollaborate with Production team and Operations/Engineering teams.\nDevelop and support recommendations for new equipment and tooling.\nProvide technical mentorship and guidance to others within the Engineering organization.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.\nFive (5) or more years of experience.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience leading manufacturing engineering activities for a complex assembly or production line.\nStrong background in continuous improvement, process optimization, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.\nExperience supporting New Product Development (NPD), engineering changes, and manufacturing readiness.\nExperience implementing advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, AMRs, smart tools, connected manufacturing systems, or similar technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineers.\nExperience identifying, evaluating, and implementing new manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and processes.\nStrong hands-on experience troubleshooting complex production issues and partnering with Operations to develop sustainable solutions.\nExperience improving safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and ergonomics within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience leading cross-functional manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe following represents general working conditions for this role. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
