With dual reporting to the VP of Global Operations & Supply Chain at the Vocational segment and the President of Oshkosh AeroTech, this role is a key member of the Oshkosh AeroTech leadership team, responsible for driving a safety culture, operational efficiency, increasing capacity, manufacturing excellence, and overall business performance.\nYOUR IMPACT\nSafety & Operations Leadership\nDevelop, implement, and sustain a world-class safety program that prioritizes team member well-being\nDrive a proactive safety culture by embedding safety into all operational activities, ensuring every team member understands and takes ownership of safety responsibilities.\nIn collaboration with VP, Operations & Supply Chain at Vocational segment, develop and implement a comprehensive operations strategy aligned with business objectives.\nEstablish KPIs to measure and drive operational performance, efficiency, and cost optimization.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives in production, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.\nEnsure world-class manufacturing capabilities, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and automation best practices.\nDevelop and implement strategy to increase capacity across AeroTech manufacturing sites.\nPartner with Supply Chain organization to optimize supplier partnerships and inventory management.\nDrive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality and regulatory compliance.\nQuality & Compliance\nEnsure all operational processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control frameworks.\nImplement best-in-class operational processes to reduce defects, improve reliability, and enhance customer satisfaction.\nDrive adherence to ISO and other relevant regulatory requirements.\nFinancial Management\nManage budgets, operational expenditures, and capital investments to drive profitability.\nConduct financial analyses to improve operational decision-making and efficiency.\nOptimize cost structures through strategic sourcing, automation, and process improvements.\nLeadership & Talent Development\nBuild, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.\nFoster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.\nPartner with Human Resources on workforce planning and development initiatives to align with business growth and expansion.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.\n12+ years of experience in operational leadership, with at least 3 years in a VP or Director-level role.\nExperienced people leader with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong experience in multi-site manufacturing, supply chain management, and logistics.\nProven track record in driving operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and six sigma methodologies.\nStrong financial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization skills.\nLives the Oshkosh Core Values of We put people first, We do the right thing, We persevere, We are better together\nDemonstrates the Oshkosh Leadership Traits of Inspires Vision and Purpose, Drives Results, Customer Focus, Cultivates Innovation, Fosters Engagement, and Instills Trust\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\nMaster’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience working with government, military, or defense contracts.\nInternational or global business experience.\nPay Range:\n$189,800.00 - $370,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
