Weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAdjust welding machine settings to proper weld configurations\nUse tools such as grinders, needle guns, wire wheels, etc. for cleanliness of finished welds\nHeats and forms metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment\nWelds components in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions\nAccurately operate and read measuring devices\nAssemble and weld various metal parts together\nProperly position material/parts to be welded\nTrain and work in various areas of production in response to production demands\nFollow verbal and written work instructions including ability to read blueprints\nAttention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards\nWork in both team and individual settings\nRegular attendance required\nAll other duties and responsibilities that are assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust receive a passing score on the Welder Qualification test and recertify skills as required by program guidelines\nMust have completed a weld class / curriculum\nOshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
