We are a global company, and our products-including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories-can be found all over the world.\nThe Welding/Robotics Programmer Intern is responsible for assisting in the operation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the welding robots and/or cobots, CNC machines and lasers for all phases in production.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:\nOperate robots, train others, and observe robots in operation. Oversee operation of the robot and troubleshoot and correct problems that may occur to the robot.\nProvide technical support to the manufacturing group with regards to the manufacturing processes/tooling related to robot programming\nAssist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.\nDesign welding programming robot in order for it to safely execute correct welds and improve operations improving technology.\nIdentify and coordinate projects that involve the robots (i.e. new technology, installation of capital equipment. \nRead blueprints and interpret symbols and assemblies and be able to understand failure analysis.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nPursuing either an associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Programming, or a related field.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS\nProficiency with AutoCAD and Creo software.\nHands-on experience with robotic welding.\nPrior experience in a machine shop setting.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe following represents general working conditions for this role.
