This project is for Cabin Interiors. MUST BE UNITED STATES CITIZEN MUST BE ALE TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCE Develop mechanical designs from concept to production, using Catia V5.Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical components and assemblies.\nConduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure designs meet performance criteria.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate mechanical systems.\nCollaborate with suppliers and vendors to select materials and components that meet design requirements and cost constraints.\nManage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.\nPrepare and present design reviews and progress reports to stakeholders.\nEnsure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.\nStay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and apply new technologies and methods to improve designs.\nRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in CATIA is a must. Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Experience with prototyping and testing mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience:\nExperience in a specific industry (e.g., automotive interiors, aerospace interiors or rail) may be preferred.\nBenefits This is a remote contractor position.
