This is a hands-on, field-focused role where you'll work closely with operational teams, providing practical health, safety and environmental support across a diverse range of sites throughout Australia.\nAbout the Role\nAs the Field HSE Advisor, you'll be the frontline HSE partner for our Operations team, helping drive a strong safety culture and ensuring our people have the support, coaching and systems they need to work safely and effectively. You'll regularly engage with site personnel, customers and leaders to promote risk management, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis role includes frequent travel to operational, remote and FIFO sites across Australia to support business objectives and provide direct field-based HSE guidance.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide practical HSE advice, coaching and support to operational teams.\nLead and participate in site inspections, audits, observations and risk assessments.\nAssist with incident investigations, corrective actions and prevention initiatives.\nSupport compliance with WHS and P&G legislation, client requirements and internal HSEQ management systems.\nDevelop and improve safe work procedures, risk controls and HSE documentation.\nBuild strong relationships with clients and site representatives on HSE matters.\nDeliver HSE training and contribute to workforce competency development.\nCoordinate inductions, onboarding and training compliance activities.\nSupport injury management activities, including Return to Work coordination.\nAssist with Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) testing processes.\nContribute to continual improvement initiatives and a positive safety culture across the business. \nWhat You'll Bring\nEssential\nCertificate IV in Work Health and Safety.\nCurrent First Aid qualification.\nExtensive field-based HSE experience within FIFO, mining, resources or similarly high-risk environments.\nStrong understanding and practical application of WHS legislation and risk management principles.\nExperience developing safe work procedures and high-risk work documentation.\nIncident investigation experience (ICAM, TapRooT or similar methodologies).\nExperience managing hazardous chemical systems such as Chemwatch or ChemAlert.\nStrong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.\nHighly Regarded\nTrade qualification or significant hands-on operational experience.\nDiploma of Work Health and Safety.\nCertificate IV in Training and Assessment.\nWhite Card and High-Risk Work Licences.\nWater industry experience.\nExperience with behavioural-based safety programs and HSE management
