If you are looking for a place to grow and a friendly working environment, then Orbitel is the place for you!\nTitle: Construction Technician\nLocation: Office located in Maricopa, AZ\nRate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour\nFull-Time/Part Time: Full-Time\nDescription\nThis position is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair for all broadcast systems, equipment, facilities and software applications.\nResponsibilities Include:\nPerforms and oversees the execution of overhead/underground construction duties such as: placing hardline cables, frame and strand poles, transfer facilities between poles, place cable in joint trench, safe operation of construction vehicles and cable trailers. \n Meets with design and commercial development personnel to assign work and materials. \n Performs quality control inspections. Assists with monitoring field personnel on a regular basis to assure quality performance and recommends additional training, as needed. \nPerforms and oversees work to dismantle, move, or remove aerial, underground or building wire/cable equipment/poles/hardware. Installs and replaces power supplies, converters, and terminal boxes. \nAssists with producing reports on capital projects and construction progress. \nLocates and marks underground cable systems to prevent damage caused by underground construction companies. \nAssists Construction personnel with daily activities, workloads, and projects \nAssists and works with contractors and utility entities. \nGathers data and orders assembly for projects. \nRegular, consistent and punctual attendance.
