We are currently focused on key enabling materials for OLED displays that will be used in next-generation consumer electronics and automotive. We work closely with our partners and customers to design new materials that are mass-production ready. Using our computational Materials Discovery Platform, we are able to rapidly iterate new materials, allowing fast turn around time to meet our customers’ needs.\nWorkplace type\nOn-Site\nprimary responsibilities\nOTI Lumionics is seeking for an Analytical Lab Technician to join its Chemistry team. The Analytical Lab Technician will carry out QAQC activities using various analytical techniques, in accordance with SOPs, and heath & safety standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nFollowing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to operate R&D and/or production analytical instruments.\nFollowing SOP to perform sample preparation and testing, which may include but not limited to NMR, HPLC, TGA, DSC and GC analyses.\nAssisting analytical chemists with the repair, modification, and setup of new instruments.\nAssist analytical chemists with calibration and maintenance of R&D and/or production equipment and laboratory infrastructure.\nAssisting analytical chemists with data processing and report preparation.\nPerform all tasks in accordance with established Safe Work Practices and Standard, Operating Procedures.\nExecuting material receiving, inspection, and release processes to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with internal quality standards.\nPerforming quality verification activities, including sampling of hazardous chemicals and confirmation of documentation, labeling, and specifications.\nEnsuring all materials are properly identified, cataloged, and documented within inventory and quality systems.\nIdentifying, investigating, and communicating discrepancies related to material condition, quantity, or documentation, working closely with production, laboratory, and logistics teams to resolve issues.\nSafely managing, handling, and storing highly hazardous chemicals in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.\nWorking comfortably in full-body personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, lab coats, and hearing protection, for extended periods as required by safety protocols.\nSupporting controlled material movement such as loading, unloading, staging, and internal transport with an emphasis on damage prevention, contamination control, and procedural compliance.\nOperating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment as required, in accordance with training and safety standards.\nMaintaining accurate, high-integrity records through precise data entry and verification checks.\nSupporting additional operational or quality-related duties as assigned to ensure overall facility effectiveness.\nEnsuring compliance with environmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and actively participate in the identification and reduction of environmental impacts related to the role\nAdhering to health and safety protocols, reporting hazards, and contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees\nOther ad hoc duties as assigned\nprofile\nPost-Secondary Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.\nrequired skills\nExcellent hands-on laboratory skills\nStrong organizational, time management,
