This role focuses on building predictive models, exploring generative AI applications, and delivering data-driven solutions to support operational and business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation.\nResponsibilities\nLead and contribute to predictive modeling projects, including data quality verification, exploratory data analysis, rule engine development, ML model training, and performance optimization.\nExplore and apply generative AI technologies, including multimodal large models and large language models (LLMs), to solve real-world problems such as compliance assessment and failure mode classification.\nDesign and implement data reporting solutions tailored to operational and site-specific business requirements.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with QA, business stakeholders, other DT teams, and engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.\nDocument development processes and design decisions in English and maintain version control using Git.\nExperience / Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI-related roles.\nProficient in Python and Spark, with hands-on experience in libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PySpark, and Spark MLlib.\nExperience with Databricks for managing ML experiments, building LLM services, and performing model fine-tuning.\nSolid understanding of statistical analysis, feature engineering, and prompt engineering.\nFamiliar with Python unit testing frameworks such as Pytest and UnitTest.\nStrong SQL skills and understanding of database performance optimization.\nExperience with Web APIs, with attention to performance and security.\nFamiliar with Git for branch and version control.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to write and read English technical documentation.\nExperience contributing to open-source projects or participating in community discussions is a plus.\nKnowledge of Azure Cloud is preferred.\nIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.\nOtis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
