This critical leadership role will be responsible for the new equipment business, including field operations, customer satisfaction and overall general business management.\nOn a typical day you will:\nLead, direct, and oversee New Equipment field operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.\n\nSupervise and support installation teams and field mechanics, driving performance, productivity, and employee development.\n\nManage project financial performance, including profitability, working capital, and operational efficiency goals.\n\nDevelop and maintain a strong safety culture by conducting field training, safety audits, jobsite inspections, and site safety/logistics planning.\n\nCoordinate project resources, including labor forecasting, workforce scheduling, material deliveries, and purchase order management, to ensure successful project completion.\n\nBuild and maintain productive relationships with customers, field employees, coworkers, and project stakeholders to support project success and customer satisfaction.\n\nMonitor project progress, identify risks, and develop solutions to address challenges, improve efficiencies, and maintain quality standards.\n\nAnalyze project requirements and field conditions to assist with estimating, planning, and contingency development.\n\nWhat You Will Need to Be Successful\n3-5+ years of elevator industry experience is strongly preferred. Relevant experience leading field associates, technicians, mechanics, adjustors, apprentices, or service/construction teams within the elevator industry is highly valued.\nCandidates with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry or a related technical field leading field-based teams will also be considered.\nOne of the following education and experience combinations:2-year degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or\n4-year degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or\nHigh school diploma or equivalent with a proven technical elevator background (such as apprentice, mechanic, adjustor, or similar).\n\nStrong leadership, team-building, and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and responsibilities simultaneously.\nStrong organizational and time management skills with a results-oriented mindset.\nComfortable working in a technical environment and proficient with Microsoft-based software applications.\nThe range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000 plus bonus. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.
