This role receives, inspects, stores, moves, stages, consolidates, and ships materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production requirements. The position contributes to the fulfillment of Additional Material Time (AMT) orders, warranty requirements, and customer needs by ensuring materials are available, accurately managed, and delivered in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nThe Material Handler works collaboratively with production, quality, customer service, specification teams, and other functional areas to support operational objectives, customer commitments, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nShift: 1st Shift\nHours: 6:00AM-4:30PM (Mon-Fri & additional days as needed)\nReceiving & Material Processing\nReceive inbound materials in accordance with established safety, quality, and operational procedures.\nInspect incoming materials for accuracy, condition, and compliance with documentation requirements.\nIdentify, label, and properly store materials, supplies, and finished goods.\nReport material discrepancies, shortages, damages, or nonconforming conditions using established processes.\nMaintain required receiving and inventory documentation.\nMaterial Movement & Production Support\nPull materials, components, and supplies to support production and customer order requirements.\nDeliver materials to designated production, storage, shipping, and receiving locations.\nStage materials and finished products to support efficient workflow and shipment preparation.\nConsolidate materials and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with established procedures.\nSupport production requirements by ensuring timely and accurate material availability.\nShipping & Fulfillment\nPrepare, package, crate, and secure materials for shipment.\nVerify shipment accuracy and completeness prior to release.\nComplete required shipping documentation and system transactions.\nSupport fulfillment activities for customer orders, warranty requirements, and service-related material requests.\nInventory Control\nMaintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling and transaction reporting.\nPerform cycle counts and inventory audits according to established schedules.\nInvestigate and report inventory discrepancies to appropriate leadership.\nProcess inventory adjustments in accordance with company procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to inventory management and material flow.\nSystems & Data Management\nAccurately process transactions and maintain records using applicable business systems.\nEnter and update information within approved inventory, shipping, fulfillment, and warehouse management systems.\nUtilize electronic documents, scanners, and computer applications to support operational requirements.\nMaintain accurate and timely system data to support inventory integrity and customer service objectives.\nContinuous Improvement & Problem Solving\nParticipate in daily toolbox meetings, Tier 1 activities, and other operational review processes.\nSupport workplace problem-solving efforts, including basic root cause analysis activities.\nParticipate in quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport cross-training efforts and development of operational knowledge across assigned work areas.\nWorkplace Organization & Safety\nOperate powered industrial vehicles (PIV) and material handling equipment in accordance with training, certification requirements, and company safety standards.\nMaintain 5S standards within assigned areas.\nFollow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.\nSupport quality processes, material review activities (MRB), and other shop floor management systems as assigned.\nMaintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.\nEssential Skills & Competencies\nMaterial handling, inventory management, and warehouse/manufacturing support knowledge.\nAbility to operate or learn material handling equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles.\nBasic computer proficiency, including navigation of business systems, email, and electronic documents.\nAbility to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, product documentation, and shipping requirements.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.\nBasic problem-solving and & Certifications\nMinimum: High School Diploma or GED.\nPreferred: Vocational, technical, or logistics-related training.\nQualifications\nRequired: 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or material handling environment.\n Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or material handling environment.\nExperience utilizing inventory, warehouse management, shipping, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing and warehouse environment with regular movement throughout production, storage, and shipping areas.\nRequires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday.\nRequires operation of material handling equipment and
