This role supports inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position requires operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV), maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.\nShift: 1st Shift\nHours: 6:00AM-4:30PM (Mon-Fri & weekends as needed)\nInbound / Receiving\nReceive inbound materials from Supplier T1 in accordance with safety standards and procedures. \nVerify shipments against Bills of Lading (BOL) and schedules. \nConduct trailer inspections and document conditions with photographs. \nReport discrepancies or damages using established processes. \nScan and assign materials to proper DC locations by commodity. \nMaintain documentation and filing requirements. \nMaterial Storage / Put Away\nTransport and store materials into designated locations. \nEnsure materials are labeled and stored correctly by commodity. \nClear materials from cross-dock areas by end of shift. \nOutbound / Shipping & Cross-Docking\nPrepare and ship materials to following CT-PAT standards. \nLoad materials according to weight restrictions and capacity limits. \nSecure loads, perform inspections, and document shipments. \nComplete and distribute shipping documentation. \nOrder Staging & Fulfillment\nStage materials based on pick lists with 100% accuracy. \nOrganize staged materials for efficient shipment. \nInventory Control\nPerform daily cycle counts per rotation schedules. \nReport discrepancies to supervisors. \nMaintain inventory accuracy. \nConsolidation\nConsolidate supplier materials into crates per procedures. \nEnsure materials are secure and organized. \nWorkplace Organization & Safety\nMaintain 5S standards in assigned areas. \nFollow all safety policies and use PPE properly. \nEssential Skills & Competencies\nMaterial handling and equipment operation (forklift, reach truck and tugger). \nWarehouse systems and inventory management knowledge. \nSafety awareness including CT-PAT compliance. \nCommunication, critical thinking, and attention to detail. \nEducation & Certifications\nMinimum: High School Diploma or GED. \nPreferred: Vocational or technical training in logistics or warehousing. \nQualifications\n0-1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required. \n1+ years and experience with scanners or WMS preferred. \nWork Environment\nWarehouse setting with physical activity. \nRequires standing, walking, lifting, and equipment operation. \nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to lift 35 lbs. \nMust be able to stand up to 10 hours a day.\nWalking, balancing, climbing, standing, twisting/turning, bending/stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling/squatting, sitting, reaching above shoulder height, reaching forward, lifting (maximum 50 pounds), carrying, pushing/pulling, handling, feeling, digital dexterity, wrist flexion/extension, power grip, working speed, talking, hearing, seeing (with color vision) depth perception. \nMust be able to wear/use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.\nMental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, and to cope with stress, and repetitive tasks and be able to self-inspect and take responsibility for quality of own work\nWorking at heights of 24 feet may be required.\nMust be able to operate Stand-up/Sit-down Forklifts\nMust be able to operate Order Picker/Joe/Wave Powered units\nIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.\nOtis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
