The role is responsible for overseeing tendering activities, engineering deliverables, technical risk management, and continuous process improvement across New Equipment projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEstimation & Tendering\nLead the preparation and review of quotations, tenders, and cost estimates.\nEnsure competitive pricing, accurate costing, and risk assessment.\nSupport Sales with technical and commercial proposals.\nDrive tender quality, consistency, and process improvement.\nEngineering Management\nManage engineering activities from tender stage through project execution.\nReview and approve technical submissions and design solutions.\nEnsure compliance with company standards and local regulations.\nCoordinate with factories, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop the Estimation and Engineering teams.\n\nManage resource planning and team performance.\nBuild a high-performing and customer-focused team culture.\nBusiness Support\nPartner with Sales and Operations to secure project wins.\nSupport major bids, customer presentations, and negotiations.\nProvide technical and commercial guidance for key opportunities.\nDrive improvements in competitiveness, quality, and profitability.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).\nMaster’s Degree is an advantage.\n10+ years of experience in the elevator, construction, or engineering industry.\nMinimum 5 years in a leadership role within Estimation and Engineering.\nExperience in tendering, technical reviews, and contract evaluation.\nSkills & Competencies:\nStrong leadership and team management.\nTechnical knowledge of elevator and vertical transportation systems.\nCommercial and contractual awareness.\nGood analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nResults-oriented with a strong focus on project wins and business growth.\nIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.\nOtis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
