In this role, you will provide advanced manufacturing engineering support for the Florence manufacturing facility, leading strategic initiatives related to process optimization, equipment implementation, capacity expansion, and new product introduction. Working independently, you will drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance. As a key technical resource, you will collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, testing, and engineering teams to enhance manufacturing operations and support business objectives.\nOn a typical day you will:\nEnsures manufacturing processes achieve safety, quality, productivity, and uptime objectives. Leads root cause analysis and corrective actions utilizing 8D methodology with closure targets achieved within established timelines.\n\nOversees flawless implementation of engineering changes, CNs, and manufacturing process updates with minimal production disruption.\n\nDesigns and sustains robust manufacturing processes emphasizing safety, ergonomics, quality, efficiency, and Lean principles.\n\nSupports certification of production yields, new product introductions, and cost reduction programs in conformance with company objectives.\n\nWorks closely with manufacturing engineering, quality, maintenance, testing, CNC programming, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and improve performance.\n\nMaintains project portfolios and leads continuous improvement initiatives supporting annual productivity and cost-reduction objectives.\n\nPlans, coordinates, trains, and supports production personnel during process changes, equipment implementations, and new product launches.\n\nProvides technical support for plant layout, equipment procurement, automation projects, equipment upgrades, and feasibility studies.\n\nIdentifies and implements improvements in processing efficiencies, capacity, energy consumption, safety, environmental performance, and operational effectiveness.\n\nWhat you will need to be successful:\nBachelor's degree in engineering (BS/BA).\n\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering preferred.\n\n3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\n5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated project leadership and implementation responsibility preferred.\n\nProven experience leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.\n\nUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and value stream mapping.\n\nAutoCAD and 3D modeling experience preferred.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExcellent project management and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive change and continuous improvement.\n\nAdditional Comments:\nGiven the nature of the position, applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.\nWhat we offer:\nWe offer a 401(k) plan with a generous company match and an automatic retirement contribution for your future financial security from day one of your employment, you and your eligible dependents will receive comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.\n\nEnjoy three weeks of paid vacation, along with paid company holidays\n\nWe provide paid sick leave, employee assistance, and wellness incentive programs to support your well-being.\n\nLife insurance and disability coverage to protect you and your family.\n\nVoluntary benefits, including options for legal, pet, home, and auto insurance.\n\nWe offer generous birth/adoption and parental leave benefits, as well as adoption assistance, to support growing families.\n\nPursue your educational goals with our tuition reimbursement program.\n\nRecognize and be recognized!
