Reporting to the Area Project Manager, the role is responsible for safe execution, technical and contractual coordination, schedule and cost control, project financial performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with customers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and internal engineering, supply chain, safety, quality and Service teams to deliver projects within the agreed requirements and timelines.\nOn a Typical Day You Will\nManage multiple new elevator installation projects from pre-start planning through installation, testing, handover and transition to Service.\nReview contracts, specifications, approved drawings and technical submissions to confirm the project scope, responsibilities and execution requirements.\nConduct site surveys and readiness inspections covering shaft dimensions, access, power supply, storage, lifting arrangements and interfaces with other building systems.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules for engineering approvals, material deliveries, logistics, installation, testing and handover.\nCoordinate material requirements and delivery schedules with factories, supply chain, logistics providers and site teams.\nPlan and manage subcontractors, installation teams, tools, materials and specialist resources in line with project priorities.\nLead safe site execution through risk assessments, toolbox talks, field inspections and timely corrective actions.\nMonitor installation progress, identify risks or delays and implement recovery plans to meet contractual and customer commitments.\nCoordinate with customers, consultants, main contractors and other trades to resolve technical, access, sequencing and site-readiness issues.\nMaintain accurate contractual correspondence and project records related to instructions, approvals, delays, access constraints and changes.\nIdentify deviations from the contracted scope and support the submission and closure of variation orders and commercial claims.\nMonitor project costs, labor efficiency, billing, collections, forecasts and overall financial performance.\nInitiate purchase requests for subcontractors, tools, local materials, manpower and other project requirements.\nConduct stage-wise quality inspections and ensure nonconformities and outstanding work are closed before testing and handover.\nPlan testing, commissioning, regulatory inspections and final handover activities in accordance with project deadlines.\nPrepare accurate progress reports, customer updates, risk reviews and management forecasts.\nBuild strong customer relationships through clear communication, timely escalation and reliable delivery.\nWhat You Will Need to Be Successful\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics or another relevant engineering discipline.\nA minimum of 6 years of project execution experience in the elevator and escalator industry, including new equipment installation.\nDemonstrated experience independently managing a high-volume portfolio of projects across different stages of execution.\nStrong knowledge of elevator installation, technical drawings, site requirements, mechanical and electrical interfaces, testing, quality control and field safety.\nCommercial and contractual experience covering project cost control, forecasting, variations, claims, subcontractor management, billing and collections.\nStrong planning, problem-solving, customer-management and stakeholder-coordination skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools; experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred.\nStrong written and spoken English, including the ability to prepare professional reports and contractual correspondence.\nWillingness to travel regularly between project sites across Dubai and other locations in the United Arab Emirates when required.\nA valid United Arab Emirates driving license is preferred.\nIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.\nOtis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
