The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.\nCore Responsibilities\nDevelops, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products at major project worksites.\nServes as the primary quality assurance resource to department working for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.\nReviews and approves quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance.\nDevises testing plans and methods to assure reliability of product installations.\nInspects parts and supplies delivered at work sites to ensure compliance with product specifications and contractual agreements.\nDevelops, applies and maintains quality standards for all field operation activities.\nDesigns and implements methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.\nPerforms root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions and process reengineering to ensure that operational metrics are maintained as per the globally defined standards for Otis products and services.\nDevelops and implements quality system, and maintains them through internal audit ensuring compliance with set processes.\nCoordinates with client’s inspection teams and quality assurance teams within Otis globally to identify best practices and deploy them locally.\nDesigns and delivers training material on quality standards and activities.\nParticipates in internal and external quality audits.\nUpdates safety policies and procedures when required.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent\nRelevant certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in performing engineering operations within the vertical transportation industry\nSaudi nationals preferred\nIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.\nOtis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
