Continuous Improvement\n-Have control and responsibility for the quality of allservice work, new installations, modernization and monitoringfirst inspection reports and field test and data reports and resolving service problems, new installation,andmodernization.\n-Utilize the CRC data to resolve problems with the highest callback units in assigned territory.\n-Consult with engineering personnel on equipmentissues, report and suggest constructive changes based upon experience with products in the field.\n-Determinefrom patterns of complaints when a problem is repetitive and warrantsa change in design or manufacture, seek the solution through the respective organization and see that it is completed within in reasonable time-frame.\n-Supervising T.I.P. and Re-Work Log systems to keep costs reasonable and realistic.\n-Assistsupervisors and superintendentsin selecting candidates for adjusting assignments.\n-Observe all Otis safety policies and procedures.\n#4 Communication\n-Interacting with Customer at branch level to explain technical problems\n-Face-2-face, phone, written communication\n-Ability to influence and help customers through challenging situation\n#5 LeadershipCapabilities\n-Good under pressure\n-Present to a large group\n-Influence\n-Professionalism and change management capabilities with customer\n-Driving accountability for the OT and field force\n-Travel Requirements: The job will require periodic travel.\nEducation / Certifications\nHigh school degree required; Bachelor’sdegree preferred\n\nBasic Qualifications\n5+ years relevant technical elevator experience required\n\nAbility to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment\n\nCandidate must demonstratestrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers\n\nNeeds to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities\n\nSuccessful candidate should be very comfortablein a technical environment utilizingMicrosoft based computer software\n\nStrong leadership skills, goal-orientated, strong time managementand organizational skills\n\nWorking knowledge of Otis and non-Otissoftware, as well as preferred experience with current and vintage Otis and non-Otisproducts\n\nOtis is the world’s largest elevator and escalator manufacturing, installationand service business.
