This role will be responsible for leading SOX compliance, audit readiness and risk management while partnering closely with Finance and Business leaders to strengthen the control environment and support business objectives.\nFUNCTIONS:\nEnsure compliance with company policies and strengthen the control environment through process improvements, standardization, and effective governance.\n\nOwn the SOX framework for the Operating Area, including scoping, risk assessment, testing, self-assessments (ACAs), 302 certification, and issue remediation tracking and validation.\n\nLead the execution of the internal audit plan across branches and subsidiaries, coordinating with Internal Audit and local teams to ensure audit readiness.\n\nSupport and participate in ethics investigations with financial or control implications.\n\nEnsure financial integrity, including balance sheet review, US GAAP compliance, quality and timeliness of account reconciliations, and review of one-timers and policy deviations; including review of significant accounting judgements and risks (e.g. major contracts reviews).\n\nOwn the quarterly representation letter process, including litigation assessment.\n\nSupport statutory, group, and internal audits, including complex accounting areas and approval of Statutory-to-GAAP (S2G) analysis.\n\nRepresent Controls in oversight of major contract review.\n\nStrengthen governance processes, including approval matrices, segregation of duties (SGD), user access reviews (UAR), and workflow controls.\n\nManage intercompany dispute resolution and ensure timely responses to regional (EMEA) and global requirements.\n\nPartner with Finance and Business leaders, participating in governance forums and acting as a key control’s advisor.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including outsourced service providers (e.g., Genpact).\n\nProvide technical accounting and controls leadership, including policy development, white papers, and support for complex or non-routine transactions.\n\nLead, coach, and develop the controls team to support audit readiness and professional growth.\n\nAbility to travel approximately 10% of the time.\n\nSkills and experience:\nEconomics or Business master degree required, MBA or Master of Accounting preferred\n\nFull professional proficiency in English.
