The role is hands-on and requires the individual to work directly with materials in the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory and transaction records.\nCore Responsibilities:\nReceive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.\nPick, prepare, and physically release materials based on approved requirements.\nProcess and maintain warehouse transactions accurately in JDE. \nEnsure materials issued physically match the quantities and details recorded in the system.\nSupport regular inventory counts and investigate stock discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate material identification, storage, and inventory records.\nMonitor stock movement and highlight shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies.\nMaintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.\nCoordinate with internal teams regarding material availability and releases.\nWork closely with the warehouse worker to complete daily material handling activities. \nFollow applicable safety and warehouse procedures during material handling and storage.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.\n0-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or materials operations. \nBasic knowledge of warehouse and inventory-control processes.\nExperience with JDE (JD Edwards) is preferred; ERP experience is advantageous.\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.\nAbility and willingness to perform hands-on material handling and warehouse work.\nGood attention to detail and accuracy in inventory transactions.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to organize work and manage multiple material requests efficiently.\nIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.\nOtis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
