Consider this opportunity.\nThe role is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of the ONE ID product roadmap. As a subject matter expert in ONE ID and Identity and Access Management (IAM), the role leads product vision, backlog management, user research, business analysis, requirements development, and continuous product improvement.\nWorking closely with Software Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Experience Design, and other cross-functional teams, the Senior Product Manager translates customer and business needs into clear product requirements and priorities. The role engages internal and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, user-centred solutions while identifying opportunities to improve product management practices and outcomes across Ontario Health.\nHere is what you would be doing:\nDevelops and manages the ONE ID product roadmap and backlog, aligning priorities with product vision, customer needs, organizational objectives, and cross-functional dependencies.\nWorks with management and cross-functional teams to define and evolve the product vision and identify opportunities and synergies across Ontario Health product portfolios.\nServes as a subject matter expert for ONE ID, maintaining a strong understanding of the product, its domain, logical architecture, customer needs, and relevant industry trends.\nLeads user research and stakeholder engagement to understand, identify, and validate customer needs and improve the overall user experience.\nTranslates product vision and business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements, including security, privacy, legal, and maintainability considerations.\nLeads requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, and prioritization using appropriate techniques such as interviews, workshops, process mapping, surveys, use cases, and product analysis.\nLeads product planning and refinement activities to ensure requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes are clearly understood by delivery teams.\nCollaborates closely with Software Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Experience Design, and other teams throughout the product development lifecycle.\nIdentifies cross-product dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, and blockers, working across teams and portfolios to support timely product delivery.\nConducts impact and stakeholder analysis and develops appropriate communication approaches to support product changes and releases.\nMonitors product performance and KPIs and identifies opportunities to enhance product quality, user experience, operations, and maintainability.\nChampions continuous improvement and the adoption of effective product management and Agile practices within the team and across related product teams.\nProvides product leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to support effective decision-making and product delivery.\nBuilds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external clients, partners, government organizations, and other stakeholders.\nWorks independently with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment and escalating decisions with broader organizational impact as appropriate.\nHere is what you will need to be successful\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Health-related fields, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.\n10+ years of relevant experience in product management, including experience working with IAM solutions/environments.\n10+ years of experience with formal requirements elicitation and analysis techniques.\n10+ years of experience working in a software development environment.\n10+ years of experience owning and managing product backlogs and releases.\nCertified Scrum Product Owner and/or Scrum Master designation is considered an asset.\nStrong knowledge of Agile product management practices and the ability to apply appropriate approaches based on product and delivery needs.\nExcellent knowledge of documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence or similar platforms.\nExcellent knowledge of JIRA or similar issue and work-tracking tools.\nStrong knowledge of project and product delivery practices within a matrix environment.\nExcellent knowledge of process mapping techniques and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nExperience with healthcare integration projects is considered an asset.\nStrong knowledge of user-centred design and innovation practices.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives from initiation through completion.\nExpert knowledge of the business domain relevant to the product area.\nKnowledge and skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer needs, product opportunities, risks, dependencies, and solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including requirements elicitation, documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder communication.\nStrong interpersonal, facilitation, fact-finding, and interviewing skills.\nExcellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to make sound decisions on complex issues with broad organizational impact.\nAbility to quickly understand and apply new concepts, technologies, and product management practices.\nStrong relationship-management skills and the ability to work effectively across product teams, portfolios, external partners, and government stakeholders.\nDemonstrates sound judgment, self-awareness, empathy, integrity, creativity, and a
