Consider this opportunity.\nAs part of the Prevention and Screening division, the Program Initiatives (PI) team leads initiatives that enable preventive care and screening for cancer and other chronic diseases.\nA valued member of the team, the Senior Project Manager, will lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex initiatives across Cancer Screening and/or the Population Health and Value-Based Health Systems portfolio.\nYou will guide broad, multi-workstream projects from requirements through implementation, balancing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk while supporting collaboration and high performance.\nReporting to the Director, OBSP, OLSP, Initiatives and Systems Delivery, you will partner with internal teams, collaborators, contractors, and vendors to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes, including IT-focused initiatives requiring significant change management.\nHere is what you will be doing:\nTranslate broad concepts and requirements into achievable plans, estimates, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.\nLead integrated, multi-workstream projects through planning, implementation, control, reporting, and closeout.\nManage scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams and negotiate resources in a complex matrix environment.\nAnalyze project data, maintain resource forecasts, produce accurate reporting, and escalate issues appropriately.\nEngage stakeholders, vendors, and contractors while ensuring strong governance, change control, and compliance with Ontario Health standards.\nHere is what you will need to be successful:\nEducation and Experience\nCompletion of a bachelor's degree, major in business administration, health administration, health informatics, information technology, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience\n10 experience in a role related to project planning and delivery, ideally in a healthcare setting experience with government level initiatives and projects an asset\nStrong working knowledge of the full Project Management LifeCycle (PMLC), PMBOK based\nExperience in managing delivery teams of various sizes and scope (may include staff, consultants, vendors)\nExperience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Project Server\nUnderstanding of the primary care landscape in Ontario is an asset\nExperience with data, clinical, and IT-focused projects is desirable\nKnowledge and Skills\nExpert project management skills gained through progressively more responsible assignments\nDemonstrated experience managing across full solution development lifecycle\nTrack record of successful project delivery\nExperience in managing delivery teams of various sizes and scope (may include staff, consultants, vendors)\nDemonstrated experience with managing project resourcing\nExperience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Project, and MS Project Server\nExperience with project methodologies and standards (PMLC, SDLC, ITIL) and tools, e.g., SharePoint\nExperience with government level initiatives and projects an asset\nDemonstrated ability to manage cross functional project teams in a matrix environment\nKnowledge or experience of the health sector and/or government is an asset\nTechnical knowledge/expertise is a requirement \nLocation: Ontario Health (OH) welcomes applications from candidates across Ontario.
