This role will be based in Kewdale at our Head Office, Perth on a full-time permanent contract, working Monday to Friday in the office.\nTo provide professional Health and Safety advice and support to operational management to assist in the attainment of a safe work environment. This person will possess initiative and drive, along with a high level of safety awareness. Specifically, the role is accountable for: \nLiaise with the Manager, Operations Manager and Regional Superintendents regarding all Health and Safety related issues. \nAdvise and assist line management in ensuring that all Health and Safety systems and work processes are present on sites and are consistent with Company, client and relevant statutory requirements. \nAttend and contribute to HSET meetings and inspections in order to improve performance in the workplace. \nResponsible for performing Health and Safety audits across nominated sites and assist with follow-up actions as required. \nReport all incidents, hazards, unsafe work conditions and equipment immediately. \nAble to follow and support Company and Client Health and Safety Management systems.\nAbout You\nIdeally you will have 3-5 years’ experience in the mining sector\nThe ideal candidate will hold:\nCert IV (or similar) in OHS/E / WHS is essential \nPrevious experience in the Mining Industry. \nCompetent computer user familiar with safety data bases, spreadsheets and word processing packages. \nExcellent communication (written and oral) and facilitating skills \nDemonstrated experience in ICAM investigations or similar incident investigation methodology \nStrong understanding of workplace safety and legislative requirements \nCommitment to Health, Safety and Environmental excellence \nAbility to support operational sites in Health and Safety management, and the implementation / use of the Integrated Management System (IMS). \nAbility and commitment to work as an effective team member. \nAbility to meet ongoing agreed KPI targets. \nHigh standard of accuracy and timeliness \n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive remuneration with a leading integrated services provider\nThe unique opportunity to work with a world leader in vehicle and OTR tyre management\nA supportive team environment\nThe chance to join a dynamic and successful business dedicated to nurturing their people personally and professionally\n\nThis is a genuine development opportunity to further extend and build upon your experience, a chance to define your career path with our world class organisation.
