This includes, but is not limited to setup and tear down, troubleshooting, training, equipment maintenance and workflow.\nSpecifically, the Molding Technician 2nd shift will:\nPerform all tasks of the Molding Machine Operator and Molding Technician Trainee positions as needed\nSetup molding machines per production schedules\nConfirm proper material use, per BOM’s\nPerform quarterly material inventory\nAssist in reduction of scrap\nPerform advance Tool changeovers as required\nRun samples and formulate process\nAssist in maintaining departmental Routers\nTrouble shoot complicated processing problems\nAssist with other related duties as required or assigned\nTraining of new employees\nOptimize existing processes\nDemonstrate leadership skills\nWhat you’ll need to bring to the table:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum 5-year Injection Molding experience\nExperienced with tool changeovers\nAbility to lift 50 lbs. Shoulder height with assistance as necessary\nReliable attendance\nAbility to differentiate between colors\nAvailable for nonstandard or extended work schedules\nGood communication skills\nModerate personal computer skills\nKnowledge of inspection tools and their use\nWhat OTTO offers for this specific position:\nThe hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.\nTarget hourly hiring range: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.\nProfit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it’s fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year.
