The coursework will be taught by faculty through the Technology and Manufacturing Association (TMA) located in Schaumburg, IL and the hands-on work experience will be completed at the OTTO Tech Center.\nThe Tool and Die Maker Apprentice will:\nOperate Tool Room equipment\nDo maintenance on machines\nBuild and assemble new tools\nInterpret tooling prints\nSPC\nKeep a clean and safe work area\nUnderstand the operation of the press\nAssist with other related duties as required or assigned\nAbout you - What you’ll bring to the table:\nHigh school diploma\nCompletion of an industrial technology high school program or equivalent\nConsistent attendance\nAttention to neat appearance\nWillingness to excel in the machining trade\nAvailability for nonstandard or extended work schedule\nGood communication and organizational skills\nReach heights that may require a stepladder\nLift equipment up to 50 lbs.\nMust be able to work in a quick paced environment\nWhat OTTO offers for this specific position:\nHourly rate: $18.00 per hour\nOTTO will pay for the TMA training and education.\nProfit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it’s fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year.
