If you thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment and take pride in driving execution excellence on the shop floor, we would love to have you on our team.Role Summary\nWe are looking for a hands-on Shop Floor Supervisor / In-Charge to manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure disciplined execution across assembly, fabrication, wiring, testing, and dispatch.This role requires strong coordination between Production, Quality, Stores, and Engineering teams to translate designs and plans into reliable, repeatable, and high-quality production output. The position is critical in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments where precision, accountability, and process discipline are essential. Basic Qualifications (Mandatory)\nDiploma / ITI / Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field\n2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations\nExperience in low-volume, high-mix production environments\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs\nExperience working with technicians, operators, and vendors.\nSkills Required\nStrong understanding of shop floor practices, production planning, and quality control\nKnowledge of tools, fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment\nFamiliarity with SOP creation, line balancing, and process optimization\nExposure to robotics, automation, EVs, electronics, or electromechanical products (preferred)\nAbility to monitor cycle times, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions\nUnderstanding of traceability systems, serial number tracking, and rework management\nFamiliarity with poka-yoke, 5S, and continuous improvement practices\nComfortable using Excel and basic ERP/Jira/MES tools\nStrong ownership mindset and accountability\nPractical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach\nClear communication skills to coordinate effectively with engineers and technicians\nAbility to allocate manpower efficiently and maintain shop floor discipline\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise daily shop floor activities, including assembly, fabrication, wiring, testing, and packing.\nAllocate manpower effectively across workstations as per production plans and priorities\nMonitor output, cycle times, and bottlenecks, and take corrective actions as needed\nEnsure adherence to drawings, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards\nPerform first-level quality checks and ensure early defect identification and resolution\nSupport implementation of process improvements, poka-yoke, and best practices\nAssist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance readiness\nAct as the primary interface between shop floor teams and Engineering/R&D\nCoordinate with Stores for material availability and inventory accuracy.\nEscalate issues related to design, tooling, manpower, or quality in a timely manner.\nMaintain production logs, attendance, shift reports, and daily output reports\nEnsure proper traceability for builds, serial numbers, and rework records\nEnforce safety norms and ensure safe working practices on the shop floor\nMaintain cleanliness, organization (5S), and discipline in the work area\nEnsure tools, jigs, and fixtures are used correctly and properly maintained\nSupport pilot builds, prototypes, and early production runs\nProvide manufacturability feedback to Design and R&D teams\nAssist in stabilizing processes before
