We’ve since opened a second clinic in downtown Manhattan, a third in Uptown Manhattan in July of 2024, with plans for more Oula clinics in new cities to come.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a part-time Laborist to participate in collaborative care with the Oula midwifery team in the inpatient setting. We’re looking for a thoughtful and passionate leader who will provide obstetrical and postpartum care for patients and collaborate with our midwifery team at Mount Sinai West. This position is 100% clinical and inpatient on the Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum floors. Obstetrical care entails providing direct patient care for patients who need OB/GYN care, co-management of care with our midwifery team for patients who rise to a higher level of medical risk and have complex labor courses including the need for operative delivery. The Oula Laborist is responsible for ensuring ongoing collaboration with the Oula midwifery team and the MSW Resident/Laborist Nursing teams to ensure high quality care is being provided. This position reports to the Oula Medical Director for the NYC Region.\nStart date: August 1, 2028.Please apply by March 1, 2027\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide coverage for on-average 6 (12 hour) shifts per month on the MSW Labor & Delivery (L&D) floor as Oula Ob/Gyn which includes caring for Oula patients who need OB/GYN coverage and co-managing patients with the Oula midwifery team.
