As a Sales Rep, you will be responsible for meeting one-on-one with faculty to further adoptions of OUP products. You’ll be providing pedagogical solutions to institutional challenges, directly impacting what and how students are learning. This position is located in Atlanta.\nPromote Oxford University Press Higher Education course materials - including courseware and e-textbooks - to current and prospective book adopters.\nCalls and demos are made via well-planned campus visits, telephone, and email. Plan and execute sales plan under the direction of sales management. Extensive travel is required during peak seasons.\nBuild and maintain relationships with instructors of university and community college programs and bookstore managers within an assigned territory.\nAchieve sales goal by selling course materials through strategic management of territory with the use of appropriate selling skills\nDriving sell-thru and ensuring that all major bookstores are serviced during rush periods\nTrack back-orders and late adoptions carefully.\nMaintain accurate contact and adoption information in our data management system, Salesforce.com.\nProactively increase product knowledge individually and through participation in all sales meetings or conference calls.\nIndividuals wishing to apply for this position should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, adept at time management, independent, and persuasive.
