This role offers exposure to key HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.\nThe HR intern will report to the HR Business Partner. This post is based in Cape Town, at the Goodwood office.\nIn this role, you will:\nAssist with recruitment process, including posting job adverts, screening resumes, conducting telephonic interviews and scheduling interviews\nSupport onboarding and induction programs for all new joiners and training initiatives\nHelp maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy\nParticipate in HR projects and initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee engagement\nProvide administrative support to the HR team and contribute to team meetings\nAbout You:\nEssential Criteria:\nCompleted Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent\nStrong organisational and communication skills\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion\nA proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn\nFull competence with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nEagerness to learn and take on challenges\nAccess to reliable transport\nClosing date: 11 November 2026\n\nOxford University Press, an equal opportunity employer, seeks a talented individual to fill this post based at Goodwood, Cape Town.
