Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.\nHybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.\nBasic Function of the Position:\n The Member Programs Intern supports the Member Programs team in delivering programming, engagement opportunities, and operational support for CTA member divisions, councils, and working groups. The intern works under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Member Programs, who oversees multiple member groups, facilitates collaboration across CTA programs, and leads initiatives that support member engagement, recruitment, and retention.\nThis role provides hands-on experience in association management, member engagement, event planning, and program operations. The intern will assist with meeting preparation, research, member communications, and event logistics while supporting initiatives that help CTA members collaborate and participate in industry programs.\nCritical Duties and Responsibilities:\nProgram & Meeting Support\nAssist with preparation for division boards, councils, and working groups, including agenda preparation, materials compilation, and meeting logistics.\nTake meeting notes and assist in developing organized meeting minutes and action item tracking.\nHelp maintain program calendars and assist with tracking follow-up items related to member programs.\nEvent & Retreat Support\nAssist with planning and coordination for division events, board retreats, and member gatherings.\nHelp develop speaker materials for events, including speaker bio books and briefing materials.\nAssist with scheduling speaker preparation calls and coordinating speaker logistics.\nCompile attendee lists and brief overviews of participating companies to support leadership engagement.\nSupport event logistics tracking, including attendee tracking, preparation of event materials, and coordination of planning timelines.\nAssist the team in tracking vendor contracts and maintaining documentation related to event agreements and logistics.\nMember Engagement & Event Prospecting\nSupport outreach and tracking related to potential participants for events and working groups.\nAssist with prospecting and tracking attendees for member programs, particularly for division initiatives and industry events.\nHelp monitor event participation and engagement metrics.\nProgram Operations\nAssist with organizing program documentation including templates, SOPs, governance materials, and program records.\nSupport tracking of member participation and engagement across member programs, including maintaining accurate database records.\nTrack committee activities and updates, including maintaining records of membership, meeting outcomes, and key actions.\nAssist the Member Programs team with internal coordination and project tracking.\nResearch & Content Development\nConduct background research on member companies and industry topics to support program development.\nHelp prepare internal briefing materials and program summaries for staff and member leaders.\nEducation and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, communications, nonprofit management, public policy, or a related field.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and work in a collaborative team environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools and virtual meeting platforms.\nWhat the Intern Will Gain:\nExposure to association management and member-driven organizations.\nExperience supporting board-level
