This is not a vulnerability management position. If you’re looking for a new challenge where you can contribute to helping future generations live in good health for longer, then we’re keen to speak with you.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPartnering with development teams across architecture, engineering and cloud to embed security into code, applications, Kubernetes and containerised workloads.\nEncouraging a shift-left approach and promoting secure engineering practices.\nImplementing and operating code scanning to help developers identify and remediate vulnerabilities.\nMaturing our Secure Development Lifecycle, embedding security into CI/CD in GitHub Actions and strengthening development tooling.\nAdvising on securing APIs and other high-risk system components.\nAssisting with securing our Data Platforms including Databricks, Dagster, Snowflake and the wider cloud environment.\nDeveloping security policy as code using OPA or similar and gaining adoption across teams.\nDocumenting security processes and low-level designs for security tools and services.\nContributing to security service documentation to support consistent delivery and operations.\nAssisting teams integrating with security tooling and ensuring smooth onboarding to security services.\nSupporting wider security initiatives including ISO 27001 activities and threat modelling.\nWhat you won’t be doing\nWorking in a siloed environment with no freedom to make decisions. \nWorking in a place where you can’t see the impact your expertise makes. \nRequirements\nTo succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:\nProficient in writing Terraform, Python and ideally KQL.\nSignificant hands-on experience with implementing and operating code scanners including SAST, DAST, IAST and SCA.\nExperience of automating security capabilities and delivering security or policy as code using tools such as OPA or Azure Policy.\nExperience of securing GitHub and GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.\nExperience of securing Kubernetes ideally AKS, along with broader container security.\nExperience of securing APIs and other exposed components.\nIdeally experience in securing data platforms such as Databricks, Dagster or Snowflake.\nExperience working directly with software engineering best practices including source control, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation and strong debugging and troubleshooting.\nExperience in threat modelling within engineering teams.\nExposure to Agile working and DevSecOps.\nKnowledge of ISO 27001 and its relevance to secure engineering.\nDesire to be part of a small fast-paced team with a collaborative mindset.\nRelevant certifications such as Microsoft MS-500, AZ-500, AZ-700, SC-200, CompTIA Security+ or Cloud+, CSA CCSK, ISC2 CSSLP, GIAC GWAPT or EC-Council CASE.\nBenefits\nSalary from £70,000 per annum.\nGenerous Pension Scheme - We invest in your future with employer contributions of up to 12%.\n30 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays - Enjoy a generous holiday allowance with the flexibility to take bank holidays when it suits you.\nEnhanced Parental Leave - Supporting you during life’s biggest moments.\nCycle to Work Scheme - Save 25-39% on a new bike and accessories through salary sacrifice.\nHome & Tech Savings - Get up to 8% off on IKEA and Currys products, spreading the cost over 12 months through salary sacrifice\n£1,000 Employee Referral Bonus - Know someone amazing?
