This is a hands-on development position for someone who understands enterprise systems and cares as much about why a solution works as whether it ships. Oura’s NetSuite environment is advanced and evolves fast - we deploy frequently across a wide integration surface (Workato, Subscription Billing, 3PL partners, Payment Processors, Enterprise Service APIs, etc.) - and we need someone who instinctively looks for the systemic fix, not just the fastest one. You will partner closely with our internal Business Analysts within Finance and Supply Chain to deliver solutions that enable new core business capabilities.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDefine, document, and execute NetSuite development tasks in an agile team process managed in Atlassian Jira.\nDeliver first-class SuiteScript code and designs that adhere to software development industry best practices, with a bias toward root-cause fixes over narrow, symptom-level patches.\nDesign and implement unit, integration, and regression test coverage for critical customizations and integrations as a standard part of delivery, and help establish a team-wide Definition of Done that includes test coverage.\nUse AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate SuiteScript, integration, and test development, applying design-first practices (specs, architecture docs, and constraints) so AI-generated code is consistent, reviewable, and maintainable.\nHelp define team standards for when and how AI-assisted changes ship, including the change-management evidence required for SOX/ITGC controls.\nContribute reusable context (architecture decision records, coding standards, and integration documentation) that makes both engineers and AI tools more effective across the NetSuite codebase.\nPartner with our NetSuite Administrator to audit and govern platform configuration - roles, permissions, workflows, and bundle usage - ensuring changes are documented, reversible, and don't accumulate as untracked technical debt.\nAssist in the development, architecture, and support of scalable integrations between NetSuite and other business systems.\nCollaborate with NetSuite business users across Supply Chain & Logistics, Financial Systems, and Member Experience to translate requirements into durable solutions.\nThis is a remote role based in the US.\nWhat you'll bring\n6+ years of total professional experience as a business systems engineer, business systems developer, or similar technical role.\n4+ years NetSuite development and/or administration experience.\nExperience working in an Agile methodology and task management system.\nHands-on experience across NetSuite script types (User Event, Client, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, etc.).\nExperience writing automated tests in any language or framework.\nHands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day development, with sound judgment about when to trust, verify, or reject AI output.\nUnderstanding of core business processes and best practices (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.) and basic accounting principles.\nExtensive integration experience (iPaaS, API, or direct point-to-point) with a solid understanding of system authentication methods.\nComfort working within NetSuite's configuration/admin layer (roles, permissions, saved searches) well enough to partner effectively with a dedicated Administrator.\nAttention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication and collaboration skills - including the judgment to push back on scope or timeline when a proposed fix won't hold up.\nBenefits\nAt Ōura, we care about you and your well-being.
