This role is responsible for executing materials planning processes and ensuring effective communication within our global Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and excellent analytical skills. The Materials Program Manager will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain operations, working closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), suppliers, and internal teams to bring our product vision to life.\nWhat You Will Do:\nMaterials Planning and Execution\nManage the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process with suppliers and CMs, providing visibility to supply availability, inventory levels, and risk assessments and mitigation\nUtilize materials and supply chain data to recommend and inform supply chain strategies\nDevelop material strategies to optimize material availability and minimize E&O\nManage allocation strategies for constrained materials across factories and programs\nSimulate and analyze liability scenarios and recommend mitigation strategies\nMonitor and manage key supply chain data and metrics\nCollaboration and Process Implementation\nLead weekly materials reviews, preparing and presenting updates on material status, risks, and mitigation plans\nWork with CMs and suppliers to track and project material availability and resolve materials-related issues\nCollaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive supply chain readiness for NPI programs and/or program EOL\nBe a voice of supply chain to influence program decisions, implement supply chain strategies, and improve operational efficiency\nSupport the implementation and utilization of supply chain systems for end-to-end component tracking and inventory planning\nWillingness to travel up to 2-3 times per quarter internationally and domestically\nThis is a hybrid role out of our San Francisco office.\nWhat you'll bring\n6+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain / Materials Planning role, or a related field\nExperience working in consumer electronics and/or hardware companies\nExperience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)\nAdaptability and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to establish and improve processes in a dynamic environment\nDemonstrated intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; expertise working with large datasets\nIn-depth knowledge and experience working with MRP and ERP systems\nExcellent communication skills across all levels of the organization\nBenefits\nAt Ōura, we care about you and your well-being.
