This role focuses on the carrier side of freight operations, with a strong emphasis on finding, evaluating, and booking loads.\nThe ideal candidate understands the carrier’s needs, stays ahead of driver schedules, and can proactively source quality freight through load boards and broker relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nSource and hunt for available freight using DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards\nProactively sourcing and booking freight through load boards and broker relationships.\nManaging documentation related to freight, including rate confirmations and dispatch-related documents.\nReview and evaluate loads based on rate, route, timing, and practicality\nBook freight directly with brokers and shippers\nHandle carrier packets, rate confirmations, and dispatch-related documents\nCoordinate loads and schedules with drivers\nCommunicate and negotiate with brokers\nMonitor booked loads from pickup through delivery\nOrganize and track loads using Trello and internal spreadsheets\nIdentify and avoid undesirable loads, including freight that may be difficult or time-consuming to offload\nRequirements\n2+ years of hands-on experience in freight dispatching and logistics coordination\nProven carrier-side experience in freight booking and dispatching\nMust have experience using DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards\nMust have hands-on experience hunting, sourcing, and booking freight\nExperience working with brokers, including carrier packets and rate confirmations\nAble to evaluate whether a load is profitable and practical for the carrier\nStrong understanding of driver schedules and carrier operations\nStrong English communication skill\n\nPreferred Experience\nCandidates with experience working directly on the carrier side, rather than only on the brokerage side, are preferred.\nCandidates should be proactive freight hunters who can independently find and secure loads, manage the booking process, and make decisions with a carrier-focused
