The ideal candidate will manage financial operations for multiple homeowner associations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, compliance with HOA regulations, and timely reporting. This role is essential for maintaining smooth financial management and supporting board members, property managers, and residents.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Management & Reporting\nManage the full accounting cycle for HOAs, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.\n\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports for HOA boards.\n\nPerform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.\n\nAssist in annual budget preparation and long-term financial planning.\n\nHOA-Specific Accounting\nManage assessments, dues collection, late fees, and special assessments.\n\nEnsure compliance with HOA governing documents and state/federal regulations.\n\nTrack reserve funds and maintain records of capital expenditures.\n\nSupport annual audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.\n\nVendor & Board Support\nProcess vendor invoices, verify approvals, and ensure timely payments.\n\nMaintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.\n\nProvide financial updates and insights to HOA boards and property managers.\n\nSystem & Process Management\nUse Vantaca for accounting, billing, and financial reporting.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency in HOA financial processes.\n\nMaintain accurate digital records of financial transactions and correspondence.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nMinimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in HOA or property management accounting.\n\nHands-on experience with Vantaca is required.\n\nStrong knowledge of GAAP and HOA accounting principles.\n\nProficiency with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial software.\n\nExcellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA or equivalent accounting certification (U.S. or international).\n\nPrior experience supporting U.S.-based HOA clients.\n\nBackground in audit preparation and financial compliance.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nMust be currently residing in the
