A post-secondary degree in social work will be an asset.\nStrong interpersonal skills, experience working with clients to settle conflicts.\nFamiliarity in navigating Federal agencies such as Revenue Canada, Immigration Canada, Service Canada.\nFamiliarity with local issues of the Saanich-Gulf Island, Vancouver Island.\nExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.\nAbility to handle, and to conform to changes in casework; respond quickly to urgent cases. A strong sense of urgency.\nCapable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nGood computer skills in Microsoft Office, CRM software experience is not required but will be an asset.\n Members of Parliament are individual employers who are responsible for recruiting, hiring and managing the employees who help them carry out their parliamentary duties.
