Collaborating with a small hardware team, you will help shape our roadmap while taking complex systems from early prototype through high-volume manufacturing.\n Responsibilities\nDesign and develop electrical systems for autonomy products, including schematics, component selection, and PCB layout\nPartner closely with other HW/FW engineers to bring up, debug, and validate prototype hardware\nSupport hardware architecture decisions across power, compute, sensor integration, and system reliability\nSupport sensor integration, signal integrity analysis, power optimization, and system-level debugging\nPartner with mechanical engineering on enclosure, thermal, connector, and integration constraints\nWork with manufacturing and supply chain teams to support prototype builds, NPI, and production ramp\nSupport component qualification and vendor selection\nDocument designs, test results, and engineering changes to support scalable product development\n Qualifications\n5-10 years of experience designing, testing, and delivering complex and highly integrated electrical designs\nExperience designing embedded hardware, sensor systems, or compute platforms to industrial-grade standards at mass manufacturing scale (10,000+yr)\nExperience with Altium (or similar)\nDemonstrated ability to concurrently champion multiple projects at varying lifecycle stages, with minimal project management oversight\n Preferred experience\nExperience with high-volume production, including direct collaboration with overseas contract manufacturers\nExperience with Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262 or similar) and rigorous validation frameworks\nThe base pay will be dependent on your skills, work experience, location, and qualifications.
