Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our UI/UX design team. Working closely with the product and engineering teams you will be designing the platform our customers security teams use to control what AI agents are permitted to do inside their organisation.

The Outerlimit Portal is where customers discover the AI already running in their estate, setthe policy that governs it, and review every action an agent has taken. That means dense, high-volume, real-time data, and decisions that carry real consequences.

You will work alongside our Lead Designer, who owns the product design direction. Your job is to take that direction and turn it into well-crafted, buildable work: individual features, flows and screens that you take real ownership of, inside a design language that already exists. It is a role with a lot of hands-on craftand a lot of learning in it.

This is for someone who can:

• Take a defined problem from user flow and information architecture through to resolved, high-fidelity UI

• Work within our existing design system in Figma, using and extending components rather than reinventing them

• Design screens that make complex, data-heavy information legible for the people who have toact on it

• Build prototypes that let an idea be reviewed and tested before it is built

• Work closely with product managers and engineersday to day to get designs shipped properly

• Take feedback and direction from a senior designer well, and get better quickly as a result

You'll be developing your product design instincts alongside someone who's done this well for years. Product design direction will be a shared effort with them as you learn, while you own the craft and quality of what's in front of you.

Whatyou'llbring

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of UX or product design experience, with a strong portfolio

• Experience designing complex, data-driven products

• Comfortable taking direction and running with it without needing every detail specified

Craft

• Proficient in Figma, including design systems, prototypingand component-based design

• Strong UX skills across user flows, interaction designand information architecture

• Able to take work from early exploration to a resolved, buildable high-fidelity design

Collaboration

• Able to collaborate effectively with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality experiences

• Able to explain your thinking, and to take critique as a normal part of the work

• Hands work over in a state engineers can build from without guessing

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise or B2B products, particularly security, developeror infrastructure tooling

• Data visualisationexperience, and judgment about when a chart is the wrong answer

• Enough front-end familiarity to work closetoimplementation. We are React, Vite and Tailwind

• Some exposure to user research, or an appetite to get involved in it

• Interest in AI agents, LLM-powered systems and how people supervise them
