# Actuarial Product Specialist

Introduction We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Actuarial Product Specialist for a 6-month contract with a leading South African insurer. You’ll own the implementation of several smaller smoothed bonus fund proposals and design and run interim manual guarantee processes. You’ll also support a fund migration programme, from planning through to post-migration stabilisation. You’ll work closely with Product, Servicing, Administration, Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Marketing. Together you’ll turn agreed proposals into workable processes and hand them over to BAU. This is a hybrid, full-time contract based in Cape Town, starting in early November. It suits a delivery-focused professional with a strong actuarial or financial background who moves easily between analysis and execution. Some solutions will start as manual processes until system development is available. You’ll need to make those processes controlled, documented, repeatable and ready to hand over to BAU.
