ProfileRequirements: Experience: 5+ years of proven B2B sales, business development, lead generation, appointment setting, or inside sales experience; insurance, employee benefits, or health insurance experience is a major plus. Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of employee benefits and insurance products, including health, life, dental, and vision insurance, commercial insurance, payroll/HR, PEO, or a similar B2B professional-services environment is highly preferred. Prospecting Expertise: Strong experience with cold calling, outbound email campaigns, lead research, prospect qualification, and meeting setting. Technology Skills: Experience with HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound calling platforms is preferred. Communication & Relationship Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, persistence, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with HR professionals and business decision-makers. Core responsibilities: B2B Lead Generation: Identify and engage prospective clients, with a primary focus on HR professionals and businesses seeking employee benefits, health, life, and annuity insurance solutions. Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume cold calling, email outreach, and follow-up campaigns using Apollo, Closely, and other sales prospecting tools to generate qualified opportunities. Meeting Setting: Qualify prospects, identify insurance and employee-benefit needs, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team. Relationship Building: Develop professional, consultative relationships with HR professionals, business owners, and decision-makers in a relationship-based insurance market. Campaign Management: Build, execute, and continuously improve targeted email and outbound campaigns based on industry, company size, role, and potential insurance needs. Lead Qualification: Research prospects, identify decision-makers, understand their current benefits or insurance arrangements, and determine fit before handing opportunities to the sales team. CRM & Pipeline Management: Accurately document prospect interactions, call outcomes, follow-ups, appointments, and lead status while maintaining clean and organized sales records.
