From mission critical applications to governed AI agents handling core business processes, you will design the systems our customers run their businesses on.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, size, and validate scalable, enterprise grade solution architectures based on business needs and drivers.\nArchitect agentic systems using Agent Workbench and Agentic Enterprise Orchestration, applying guardrails, agent evaluations, and orchestration patterns that make AI safe for mission critical use.\nTranslate business requirements into viable, maintainable applications and agents, leveraging the full OutSystems platform.\nDefine and review architecture patterns that promote reusability, lifecycle independence, and lower maintenance costs.\nAssess existing applications for performance, architecture, and development quality, and prescribe improvements, including modernization paths for legacy systems.\nIdentify non functional requirements, integration needs, and shared standards across the application and agent portfolio.\nMentor OutSystems, customer, and partner teams on architecture and development best practices.\nGrow the technical capability of the Professional Services team through contributions to technical practices, reference architectures, and speaking engagements.\nPrincipal Technical Architect: $153,000 - $186,300 Base Salary\nSalary Determination: Our salary range is based on industry standards, company performance, and market conditions. We offer competitive compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.\nIn determining salary ranges, we consider factors such as:\nMarket Research: Industry reports, salary surveys, and online salary databases\nCompany Performance: Financial performance, revenue growth, and budget allocation\nJob Requirements: Skills, experience, and qualifications necessary for the role\nGeographic Location: Cost of living, market conditions, and industry standards in our region\nQualifications & Requirements\nBS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n10 years of software development experience, including hands-on work in web or mobile application development.\n4 years in architecture or technical leadership roles, with proven application of architecture patterns in enterprise projects.\nStrong command of architecture design, project delivery practices, and application performance, including the ability to identify, evaluate, and fix performance bottlenecks.\nWillingness to travel up to 20% to support customer engagements.\nHands-on experience designing AI solutions is strongly preferred: LLM based applications, agentic frameworks and protocols such as MCP, RAG, or model orchestration on platforms such as Amazon Bedrock.\nSoftware development experience in .NET, C#, SQL, and modern web technologies are preferred.\nExcellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.\nSecurity Clearance & Eligibility Requirements\nCitizenship: U.S. Citizenship is strictly required for this position.
